Teams must quailify to participate in this event. Berths will be awarded from each ISSA tournament in 2012 (see tournament list). Additionally the National Champions from all major softball associations will be invited. ISF member countries are invited to send thier champions as well.

Tournament:

ISSA/ISF World Tournament of Champions     (www.seniorsoftball.org)

Date:

Janurary 25th - 27th , 2013 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the number of participating teams may require some divisions to start earlier in the week)

Location:

Plant City Softball Stadium/Larson Softball Complex, Grecco Softball Complex, Radison Sports Complex and other Venues (see photos on home page).                           

Teams:

It is estimated that 50 to 60 teams from around the world will be attending to compete for the ISSA/ISF World Tournament of Champions in their division this first year.

Ticket Prices: Admission to all venues is FREE.
 

Parking

No charge for parking, adequate parking is available at the parks.

Managers Meeting:

The manager's meeting will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, January 24 at the Host Hotel, Clarion Hotel 2701 E. Fowler Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33612.   Managers check-in and receive tournament materials.  (Rooms at the Host Hotel are available for $59 per night.)

Team Check-in:

During preliminary play at the ball park, senior men and women and masters teams check-in together. Photo ID's (drivers license) are needed for the team check-in.

Tournament Seeding:

The tournament staff will place the teams in brackets and prepare the preliminary schedule which will be posted on the website approximately two weeks prior to the tournament. The preliminary game record will be used to seed your team into the double elimination finals. The exact format will depend on the number of teams in each division.

Qualified Teams should complete Entry Form and mail Entry Fee ASAP

Rosters Due: The ISSA/ISF Roster Form must be submitted with entry fee (roster must be turned in at or before the Managers Meeting with original player signatures.  Players arriving late can sign at the check-in or prior to their first game.)  Teams must play with their tournament qualifying roster with the following EXCEPTIONS:  1) All teams may add three pick-up players.  Pick-up players must be from teams who played at the same skill level as the team during the 2012 season, 2) teams with berths may requalify their roster for 2013 by playing in the US Open at Myrtle Beach and/or the ISSA Winter Nationals at Virginia Beach (teams are subject to getting a new ISSA Rating depending on the extent of their roster modification for 2013) and 3) the ISSA recognizes that there are a myriad of roster modification possibilities and special requests will be handled on a case by case basis.
 

Divisions of Play:

Teams will be placed in skill level divisions based on their ISSA/ISF Rating and verified by the tournament staff. 

Fees:

The entry fee for all classifications is $550.00.

Souvenirs:

T-shirts and other apparel will be for sale at the park.

Rings: A special design championship ring will be available for the players on the winning teams to purchase.
